General Posting Guidelines
Doubling a topic
When a User opens a New Topic, he/she should have passed the “Search” section and to be absolutely convinced that this or a similar topic does not already exist. The so called “crosspoting” or posting the same, or a similar, topic more than once will be seriously punished according to item 7.
4.3. Topic-matter
When a User posts a New Topic in a particular section of the Forum, he/she should consider if his/her text conforms to the topic purpose of the section. There could be clearly expressed limitations or other specific rules for each particular section of the Forum. (They are usually published as “An Important Topic” at the beginning of the forum.)
4.4. Author of the topic
Each User who opens a New Topic is its author. The author of a particular topic is obliged to define the frame of the discussion in the opening text. It could be a specific question (in this case the theme and the parameters of the answers are defined), defining the problematic matter (the object for the discussion is set with its time or other frames) or other. The author has the right to address the Forum Team through a personal message (or by the “Report” button) and to ask for the change or removal of his/her User’s opinion in his/her topic on the grounds that it deviates from the topic or is off the point at all. The Team decides if the request is well-founded and takes measures accordingly using its own judgment.
4.5. Writing an opinion
Before posting a New Opinion on any matter, make sure it will be useful for clarifying the matter. Opinions such as “I don"t know about the hair-style, where can I get a tattoo?” are unacceptable. All misinterpretations of the topic will also be punished not only by banning but with a limited access to the forum.
We figured this was necessary because a lot of people come in and post threads without thinking, and without realizing that there is no possible way they could get help because of the way they posted the question. Here are some general guidelines.
4.1. New Topic"s Title
The title of each New Topic should be as descriptive as possible and should conform to the Forum"s section where the topic will be posted. “More descriptive” should be understood as using key words on the matter or on the problem, and not stating the whole matter or problem in the title
1. Please use SEARCH first!
There is a pretty good chance that unless you have some really odd or unique problem that it has been addressed on our forum before, please use the forum’s search feature first to see if there are already some good threads on the subject. It’s easy to search – just click the “Search” button at the top right of the page.
Before you post: A search should be done to see if your question(s) have already been posted. You can use the search function by following this link.
Remember when people help you, they are doing YOU a favor
Be patient, help people out by posting good descriptions of what you need help with, and not snapping at people with garbage such as
“if you aren’t going to help don’t waste my time replying”.
Be DESCRIPTIVE and Don’t use “stupid” topic names
PLEASE post a descriptive topic name! Give a short summary of your problem IN THE SUBJECT. (Don’t use attention getting subjects, they don’t get attention and only annoy people).
Here’s a great list of topic subjects YOU SHOULD NOT POST :
Help me, Hello, Very urgent, I have a question, problem, etc.
Generally ANYTHING similar to these is unacceptable. Just use a title related to your question/problem. Capitals should also be avoided.
Why do we ask you to use explicit titles in your topics ?
Because the forum's search engine bases its search results on keywords found in topic titles.
Certainly not! So, this is why it is important to use titles related to your problem/question. Doing this makes the searches much easier for visitors who use the search engine to get an answer to their question.
Description of your problem/question: When you ask a question, try to be clear and accurate about what you want to say. Don't hesitate to describe your problem. The more information you give, the better we can answer you. Screenshots can also help depending on the problem.
3. Do not post “offensive” posts, links or images
Any material which constitutes defamation, harassment, or abuse is strictly prohibited. Material that is sexually or otherwise obscene, racist, or otherwise overly discriminatory is not permitted on these forums. This includes user pictures. Use common sense while posting.
This is a web site for accountancy professionals.
Do not send private messages to any users asking for help. If you need help, make a new thread in the appropriate forum then the whole community can help and benefit.
What happens if I break a rule?
If you break a rule, then you will either be warned or banned. A ban of your user account may either be temporary or permanent. The administrators and moderators also have the right to edit, delete, move or close any thread or post as they see necessary, without prior warning.
Behavior on the forum
Defamatory, racist, hateful, illegal or insulting content must be avoided on this forum. You must respect the fact that people may have a different opinion than you. If you are in conflict with another member, please use private messages to settle any disputes.

Please, be patient. It is useless to bump your topic every 2 minutes (see the point "Spam and Off-topic"). Every member of this forum has a private life besides Dreamcatcher, so they can't always respond immediately.
You must respect the moderators and administrators. They all work voluntarily on this forum and they are human, not machines!
If you received advertising, pornographic content or insults through a private message, you must send the whole message and a screenshot of that message to a moderator via PM. Do not open a new topic and post its contents on the forum thread.
If you don't find your topic, it may have been moved to a more appropriate place. If you are not sure how to find it, click on your username in the 'Who is Online ?' section at the bottom of the homepage and go to the 'Statistics' tab of your profile. There you can do a quick search of all the posts or topics you recently made.
